Northscale ("we," "us," or "our") builds live website previews and outreach tools for service businesses. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Business contact info you submit — business name, contact name, phone, email, website, city, and trade.
- Preview site content we generate from your public website (services, photos, hours, etc.).
- Engagement data from your preview site (page views, call taps, quote requests).
- Technical data such as IP address (stored as a salted hash for rate limiting), browser, and referrer.
How we use it
- To build and host your preview site.
- To contact you about your preview, launch, and account.
- To prevent abuse (rate limiting, fraud detection).
- To improve our product.
SMS & email consent
When you check the consent box on our sign-up form, you agree to receive transactional and promotional messages from Northscale by SMS and email at the phone number and email address you provide. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. Reply HELP for help. Opting out of SMS does not remove you from transactional email (e.g. your preview link). To opt out of email, use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or email us at privacy@projectnorthscale.com.
We do not share, sell, or rent your mobile number or SMS opt-in data to third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers who help us operate the product (hosting, email/SMS delivery, analytics, payments). We do not sell your personal information.
Retention
We keep lead and preview data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can request deletion at any time.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information by emailing privacy@projectnorthscale.com.
